With less than 60 days until Spring, this morning's sunrise over the Barnegat Bay from Beach Haven West, has us thinking one thing...the SUMMER 2017 season is ALMOST here!!

Here's some Healthy Tips to Get Ready for this Upcoming Season...See you at the beach!! 

Follow a Healthy Diet:

  • Eat more fruits and veggies.

  • Choose whole grains. Try brown rice instead of white. Switch to whole wheat pasta.

  • Choose lean proteins like poultry, fish, beans, and legumes.

  • Cut down on processed foods, sugar, salt, and saturated fat.



  • Exercise boosts your heart health, builds muscle and bone strength, and wards off health problems. 

  • Aim for 10,000 steps a day...take the stairs instead of the elevator or park in the furthest parking spot, it's always available!!

Cut Down on Your Stress:

To relieve stress, try:

  • Deep breathing

  • Meditation

  • Yoga

  • Massage

  • Exercise

  • Healthy eating
